How to Safely Remove and Service an A/C Hose Discharge Line on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Start servicing and repairing the HVAC discharge line by extracting all the refrigerant from the entire refrigerant system. After that, take out the radiator support that sits above the engine. After that, remove the bolt that holds the A/C discharge line to the A/C compressor. Remove the A/C discharge line from the compressor and then take out and throw away the O-ring seal. Once done, seal the gap in the discharge line fitting and the compressor with a plug or some tape. Go ahead and remove the nut that connects the A/C discharge line to the A/C condenser. Separate the A/C discharge line from the A/C condenser and remove the O-ring seal which you should throw away. After that, put in a plug or tape to cover the opening of the discharge line fitting and the condenser port.
