2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser Radiator Support Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Radiator Support on 2008 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: Before you can work on the radiator support, first open and prop up the hood. After that, take out the rubber seal from the flange on the upper radiator support (1). Also, please remove the upper grille. If the car requires it, pull on the hood latch (3) to free it from the top radiator support. If you have an ambient temperature sensor, lift it out by removing the sensor mount from the support bracket. First, remove bolt (6) that connects the support bracket to the upper radiator support support and then take out all six bolts (2) that attach the upper radiator support to the fenders. Should you require, also lift off the hood bumpers (7) as well as the upper radiator mounting brackets (8) from the upper radiator support.
