2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser Radiator Support Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Radiator Support on 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser?
A: To work on the radiator support, first open and support the hood. After that, remove the rubber hood seal (9) from the upper radiator support (1) and remove the upper grille. Should the process require it, remove the hood latch (3) from the support bracket above the radiator. Should there be an ambient temperature sensor, take it off the support that appeared in step 3. After everything else, pull out the support bracket bolt (6) connecting it to the upper radiator support, then take out the six bolts (2) holding the upper radiator support to the fenders. If required, get rid of the hood bumpers (7) and the upper radiator mounting brackets (8).
