How to Service and Repair a Timing Cover on 2008 Chrysler Town & Country?

For servicing and repairing the front timing cover, first carry out the fuel pressure release procedure. Split the negative cable from the battery and get the vehicle hoisted up. Pull off the accessory drive belt and remove the accessory drive belt tensioner. After that, loosen and remove the bolts holding the power steering pump and move it away from the car. Take off the crankshaft damper and undo all the fasteners of the lower front timing belt cover so that you can remove the cover as well. Lower the vehicle and lift the engine with a floor jack. Take away the air cleaner housing unit and then the front engine mount. Remove the bolts from the upper timing belt cover on top, then lift the front upper timing belt cover up and out.
