How to Safely Service a Blower Motor Resistor on 2008 Dodge Caliber?

Before starting any service on the blower motor resistor, wait five minutes if the blower motor had been working because the resistor can get quite hot. Cut the negative battery cable off from the battery. Make sure to then pull the wire harness from the blower motor resistor which you will find at the bottom of the HVAC housing on the passenger side of your vehicle. After that, unscrew the two screws that hold the blower motor resistor to the HVAC housing and pull the resistor out.
