  A: First, take off the A/C condenser, disconnect the negative battery cable and heal any refrigerant in the system. If your model uses a 2.0L diesel engine, take out the front fascia; if it's a 2.4L turbo engine, remove the charge air cooler to throttle body hose. For these fossil fuel models, take out the upper radiator support so it's out of the way while the engine is removed. Gasoline engine cars should have the radiator pushed a little backward to allow A/C condenser access. Pop out the nut securing the A/C discharge line to the right side of the condenser, discard the O-ring seal and gasket and insert plugs or tape into the open discharge line fitting and the condenser inlet port. First, raise and hold up the car, then insert your hand into the hole in the lower area of the main grill to reach the A/C liquid line. Undo the nut holding the liquid line to the right side of the condenser, take out the line, remove the O-ring and gasket and use plugs or tape to close the fitted opening and condenser port. Lower the bolts on the lower condenser brackets, remove them from the radiator and then lower the vehicle. If you have an automatic transmission cooler, separate the lines going to it from the left part of the A/C condenser. No charge air cooler is needed for 2.0L diesel engine models. After that, carefully lift the condenser up, separate the two upper brackets from the radiator and move the condenser out of the engine bay.
