It's possible to replace just one or both hood hinges without having to remove the hood first. Begin by opening the hood and then prop up the side that will have a hinge replacement. After that, take out the cowl grille and mark every bolt and hinge attachment point with a grease pencil or its equivalent. Take off the fender support bolt and afterward pull the wheelhouse splash shield by undoing the plastic rivets. Following this, take out the nuts that are holding the hinge to the hood. Located in the back of the fender, take out both of the hinge bolts. In the end, push the hinge forward and pull it out from the rail on the fender.
