How to Install a Trunk Lid Latch on a Liftgate on 2008 Dodge Magnum?

Place the latch (5) on the liftgate (1) after aligning it with the studs (2). Using all three nuts (4), fasten the latch to the studs, but make sure you tighten them up to 12 Nm (9 ft. lbs.). Then, link the pigtail wire connector of the latch to the take out of the liftgate wire harness (3) attached in the liftgate. Following that, fit the trim panel to the inside of the liftgate and reattach the negative battery cable. As a last step, close the liftgate.
