How to Maintain and Fix a Horn Alarm on 2008 Dodge Nitro?

Before beginning service or repair on the alarm horn, remove and isolate the negative battery cable. The alarm siren module (4) is on the side of the front end module carrier (3) that faces the engine compartment, just below the inboard side of the right front combination lamp unit housing (2). Take out the front end module wire harness wire from the siren connector receptacle (5). Following that, detach the grille panel (1) from the front of the vehicle. Disconnect the siren form the carrier by removing the screw from the front and then lifting out the siren from the engine side of the carrier.
