  The alarm siren module is installed directly underneath the right front combination lamp unit housing on the engine side of the front end module carrier. Tighten the prescribed screw from the front of the vehicle to attach the siren firmly to the carrier to 14 Nm (10 ft. lbs.). Mount the Grille panel carefully along the front of the car. Attach the wire harness connector for the front end module to the connector in the siren and then link the battery negative cable again. When installing a new alarm siren module, a diagnostic scan tool is required to initialize and set up the new unit within the intrusion module, following the steps in the Miscellaneous Functions menu item called Initialize Siren for the Intrusion Transceiver Module/Itm.

  Before servicing or repairing the alarm horn, remove and set aside the negative Battery Cable. Just below the housing for the combination lamp on the vehicle's front side, you will find the alarm siren module (4) attached to the front end module carrier (3). Open the connector door for the siren module and unplug the front end module wire harness from your connector. Remove the Grille panel (1) from the grille opening in your front end. Turn the frontlines, removing the screw holding the siren to the carrier and then pick out the siren from the side next to the engine compartment.
