How to Locate and Remove the Engine Control Module (ECM) on 2008 Dodge Ram 2500?

The Engine Control Module (ECM) is on the left side of the engine mounted using capscrews and vibration isolators. Note any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) prior to the removal of negative battery cables. To have access, you will need to take off the left front wheel and fender splash shield, then unattach the ECM connectors and mounting bolts to take out the ECM.
