How to Service and Repair an Ignition Coil on a 5.7L Engine on 2008 Dodge Ram 2500?

Disconnect the electrical connector attached to the ignition coil before servicing or repairing it on a 5.7L engine. Before removing the coil, blast the area at its base with compressed air. With both mounting bolts out, ensure the coil still holds them onto the fuse block. Pull the coil out from under the valve cover and then remove it from the vehicle.
