For this step, remove the negative battery cable to keep the engine safe. Then, eliminate the engine cover as well as the brackets that support the cover and the transmission tube retainer. Afterwards, remove the battery and its tray, as well as the PDC from its bracket and keep them separate. Take out the PDC bracket and rearrange the engine wiring harness. Raise up the vehicle, disconnect the bolts on the right and left engine mounts and then lower it down once more. Install clevis brackets in the places indicated by the engine lifting fixtures and attach the chain at the end of the engine lifting chain.
