How to Service an Oil Pan on 2008 Dodge Sprinter 3500?

Turning off the negative battery cable should be the first step before you service the engine oil pan. After that, disconnect the accessory belt and remove the transmission. Then, take out the flex plate. After that, take out the 5 bolts at the base of the rear main seal carrier and after that, the bolts for the oil pan as well. Soak the oil pan before you remove it.
