How to Service and Repair a Brake Light Switch on 2008 Dodge Viper?

Before performing any service on the brake light switch, separate and cover the battery's negative cable from its post. After that, beneath the instrument panel, turn the brake lamp switch counterclockwise about 30 degrees to release it from its clip, then pull it out. Following this, unplug the wiring harness connector from the switch. The brake lamp switch is discarded since it cannot be reused after removal.
