  • Q: How to Safely Remove a Radiator on 2008 Dodge Viper?
A: Prior to removing the radiator, take the negative battery cable off the battery. Remove all the fluid from the cooling system. After that, withdraw the hose connected to the throttle body air inlet and remove the entire air cleaner housing assembly. Undo the oil cooler attaching fasteners without disconnecting the hoses, then move the oil cooler. Next, unhook the upper and lower radiator hoses and afterwards remove the bolts that hold the radiator in place. Subsequently, remove the A/C condenser mounting screws and very carefully take the radiator from the engine bay, taking care not to damage any fins.
