2009 Dodge Viper Radiator Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Remove the Radiator from an Engine Cooling System on 2009 Dodge Viper?
A: Unplug the negative cable from the battery as the first step before removing the engine cooling radiator. Empty the system that cools your vehicle. Please remove the throttle body air inlet hose and the air cleaner housing assembly in the next step. Adjust the fasteners that hold the oil cooler, leaving the oil cooler lines intact and then reposition the oil cooler. Remove each of the upper and lower radiator hoses, then unbolt the bottom mounting bolts. Following this, remove the fasteners supporting the A/C condenser and gently pull out the radiator from the engine area, so as not to harm the fins.
