2008 Dodge Viper Radiator Cap Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Inspect a Radiator Cap on 2008 Dodge Viper?
A: Put the radiator cap upright and check the valve at the bottom; if the gasket on the cap is swollen and keeps the valve from shutting, change the cap. You should be able to open the vent valve by pulling your fingernail with only a bit of effort. Holding the cap upside down, check to see if you catch a flash of light between the vent valve and the rubber seal; if you do, you should replace it.
