How to Properly Install and Adjust a Rear Wiper Arm on 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Before fitting the rear wiper arm, move the wiper switch to Off and turn the ignition to On. Should the motor arrow not stay still, put the ignition switch into the Off position while the motor is stopped. Index the rear wiper arm to the motor while it is parked and push the arm onto the liftgate using the bottom wiper arm support. Make sure the tapered mounting hole is over the motor's output shaft when in the park position. Sit the tapered mounting hole down over the output shaft, then secure the rear wiper arm by doing up and tightening the nut to 10 Nm (86 in. lbs.). Moisten the liftgate glass and run the rear wiper, switching the switch to Off. Once parked, look at the wiper arm support and adjust its position if necessary. Put the plastic cap on the pivot end of the rear wiper arm and press down until it snaps into the wiper arm.
