How to Install a Fuel Injector and Ensure It Seals Properly on 2008 Jeep Liberty?

Put the fuel injector(s) (3) into the fuel rail assembly (4) and attach them with the retaining clip(s) (2). If you are installing the same injector(s), be sure to get new O-rings and put a black O-ring at the intake manifold and a red/rust colored O-ring at the fuel rail end as they are easily recognizable by color. Coat the O-ring of every injector with a bit of clean engine oil before putting it in place. After you have fitted the fuel rail, run the engine and check for any leaks.
