How to Maintain the Camshaft Position Sensor on a 3.8L Engine on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

Before servicing the Camshaft Position Sensor on a 3.8L engine, remove the negative side of the battery cable. After that, remove the electrical wires from the vehicle. After taking out the bolt, rotate the sensor and pull it from the engine to remove its O-ring. The front of the engine has the CMP bolted onto it and a pigtail connects it to the engine's wiring harness.
