How to Install a Drive Shaft on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

When installing the drive/propeller shaft, clean the bolts first and then put Lock & Seal Adhesive or a similar material on the threads. Tighten down the propeller shaft enough to fit it inside both the axle flange and transmission flange. Lay the provided marks on the transfer case flange over the marks on the CV joint at the end of the propeller shaft. Fix the CV retainers and bolts for the propeller shaft, keeping the tightness to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). After that, set the reference marks on the installation guide on the CV joint and axle and position the retainer and reinforcement bolts in place, this time tightening them by 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.).
