How to Safely Service and Repair a Second Row Seat Belt on Two-Door on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?

Start by looking over every seat belt, buckle, mounting hardware, retractor, tether strap and anchor for signs of good installation and no damage. Install new belts for any that are cut or torn; straighten twists in the belts; tighten fasteners that are loose; and replace any belts or buckles with problems or damage or any bent or broken latch plates or anchor plates, before continuing. It is also necessary to swap out any bent or broken child restraint mounts and do not ever repair any seat belt or child restraint components; instead, always use original Mopar parts from the DaimlerChrysler Mopar(R) Parts Catalog. The only exception is that the switchable lock on the driver front side is missing from all seat belt retractors. After that, take out the nut under the second row seat belt lower anchor inside the rear floor, cut the trim cover from the second row turning loop, take out the second row retractor fixing screw from the upper rear sport bar, unscrew the fixed bracket to the sport bar from the bottom of the rear seat and at last, remove the whole seat belt and retractor assembly from the left side of the rear sport bar.
