2008 Jeep Wrangler Sway Bar Link Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Install a Sway Bar Link on 2008 Jeep Wrangler?
A: The vehicle should be on its tires while you secure the front sway bar link to the axle bolt. Install the sway bar link on the vehicle first. Then, add the left side lower sway bar link bolt (4) to the axle and torque it to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Loosen the sway bar opposite the one you just tackled, install the right upper sway bar link nut and tighten it to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Install the left lower sway bar link bolt (4) on the axle and turn it to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.) and also install the left upper sway bar link nut (1) attached to the sway bar, ensuring it is tightened to 102 Nm (75 ft. lbs.). Once you're done, get rid of the support and bring the car down.
