How to Remove a Liftgate Hinge on 2009 Chrysler 300?

Open the deck lid, support it with a support and then lift the trunk or liftgate hinge. After that, remove the support cylinder from the hinge on the deck lid. Make a mark on the inner panel of the deck lid to help you find the bracket location once the job is complete. After that, take out the two screws that hold the hinge in place under the deck lid. Also, mark the place for the lower hinge bracket on the drain trough where the deck lid opens. Remove the three screws holding the hinge to the drain trough, then take the deck lid hinge out from the vehicle.
