2009 Chrysler 300 Window Regulator Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove a Front Door Window Regulator on 2009 Chrysler 300?
A: Before you remove the window regulator, take out the inside door trim, the speaker and the watershield together. Proceed by taking out the screw under the bottom of the pull cup bracket and the window regulator rear rail. Remove the screw that holds the top of the bracket onto the pull cup and take out the bracket from the keyed hole. Page 19. Next, adjust the position of the front door glass using the regulator to get to the two window regulator glass clamps and loosen each glass clamp's screw enough so the glass can be removed. Take the glass out of the clamps and tape it all the way up. Turn out the two bolts on the side rails that attach the front regulator rail and the regulator motor bracket to the door. Detach the screws at the tops of the regulator rails from the keyed holes inside the door, then pull up on the front regulator rail to separate the screw from its keyed hole. Get to the connector on the door wire harness by lowering the front regulator rail and then disconnect the connector from the regulator motor through the speaker hole. Press up on the rear regulator rail to unlock it from the keyed hole and withdraw the regulator through the sizable access hole inside the door at the rear.
