How to Detach the Antenna from a Radio on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Prior to taking out the radio antenna, disconnect the battery negative cable first. Separate the antenna mast from the antenna body and for cars with a manual antenna, be sure it is fully down. If the studio is set up, take the shroud off. After that, take out the antenna nut and adapter. Remove the antenna body cable from the end of the instrument panel antenna cable. Should access be difficult, take out the inner fender shield to reach the fasteners. Remove the antenna body and the cable assembly from the fender after the previous steps are done.
