How to Remove and Replace a Front Brake Caliper on 2009 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Before you start, use a brake pedal holding tool to press the brake pedal a little beyond its first inch and hold it there, blocking the brake hydraulic system from the master cylinder to keep brake fluid in the reservoir. Raise and secure the vehicle, remove the three wheel nuts from the mounting frame and then the tire and wheel set as well. Disconnect the brake hose from the brake caliper using the banjo bolt, remembering that the bolt will remove two washers that you should get rid of. Once done, take out the two brake guide pin bolts and remove the disc brake caliper from the adapter and pads.
