How to Remove and Replace a Front Brake Caliper on 2010 Chrysler PT Cruiser?

Start by using a brake pedal holding tool to push down on the brake pedal for the first inch and hold it while you work to stop the brake fluid from draining from the reservoir when you disconnect the brake lines. After that, bring up the jack and secure it, then take off the three wheel mounting nuts and remove the tire and wheel it holds. Get rid of the banjo bolt connecting the brake hose to the brake caliper, as it will bring two washers with it which you should then discard. Once you are done, remove the brake caliper guide pin bolts and move the caliper away from the disc brake adapter and pads.
