How to Safely Remove a Harmonic Balancer on 2009 Dodge Challenger?

You should start by disconnecting and isolating the negative battery cable before tackling the harmonic balancer. Partially empty your vehicle's coolant reservoir, then take off the upper radiator hose. Loosen the radiator fan connector and remove its mounting bolts before you can remove the assembly. After that, take out the accessory drive belt. When you're done, take out the crankshaft harmonic balancer bolt and then slide Puller 1023 through Crankshaft Insert 9020 to pull out the crankshaft harmonic balancer.
