    A: You should first pull the negative cable from the battery to remove the harmonic balancer or crankshaft pulley. After that, remove the accessory drive belt. First, empty the cooling system and next get rid of the upper radiator hose. After that, remove the fan shroud. Loosen the bolt holding the harmonic balancer and now insert Crankshaft Insert 8513A into the end of the crankshaft. Use puller 1023 in order to take out the balancer.
