    A: Before you install the Camshaft Position Sensor, you must first clean out the slot on the cylinder head. Apply just a bit of engine oil to the sensor o-ring and insert the sensor into the cylinder head by gently shaking and turning as you fit it in place. Before tightening the sensor mounting screw, press the sensor tightly against the cylinder head to prevent harm to the mounting tang on the sensor. UC. If the sensor has a mounting bolt, secure it using the recommended torque of 12 Nm (106 in.lbs); if not, use the recommended torque on the hexagnostic bolt instead; then plug the sensor's electrical connector into the wire harness.
