2009 Dodge Dakota Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove the Intake Manifold Temperature Sensor on 2009 Dodge Dakota?
A: The IMT sensor is placed among the tubing running from the intake to the throttle body. The first step to removing the sensor is to unplug the electrical cable from the IMT sensor. After that, wipe any dirt off the tube at the base of the sensor. After that, use the small plastic tab to gently lift it and then turn the sensor about 1/4 turn in the direction opposite the hands on a clock. Afterward, examine the sensor o-ring.
