How to Remove a Timing Cover on 2009 Dodge Dakota?

To remove the engine timing cover, disconnect the battery, drain the cooling system, and remove the electric cooling fan, fan shroud, and radiator fan. Disconnect heater hoses and the lower radiator hose, then remove the accessory drive belt tensioner, crankshaft damper, generator, and A/C compressor. Use Mopar(R) Grey Engine RTV sealant for sealing. Finally, remove the timing cover bolts.
