2009 Dodge Durango Antenna Cable Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Detach the Antenna Cable from the Instrument Panel on 2009 Dodge Durango?
A: To begin, break the negative battery cable from its socket and cover the battery terminals. After that, take out the trim around the floor on the right side. Reach past the glove box on the driver's side and find the coaxial cable connector for the antenna on the instrument panel. Pull the cable apart while twisting both metal halves, keeping the actual cable out of your hands. Remove the instrument panel antenna cable from the plastic clips on the glove box opening and lower shield. Since pulling the cable straight could damage the radio or antenna, you should unlock the antenna connector before you remove the radio. Take out the antenna cable next by pulling the locking antenna connector off the radio and pulling the antenna cable through the car's instrument panel opening.
