Then lubricate the gasket of the new filter with clean engine oil. After the gasket is in contact with the base, install the new filter and tighten it to 16 Nm (12 ft. lbs.) of torque, if necessary using a filter wrench. Finally, begin the engine and search for leaks. Replacement oil filter should always be a Mopar(R) or equivalent.
