How to Extract the Crankshaft from an Engine on 2009 Dodge Journey?

To remove the crankshaft, remove the engine, then the oil pan, the oil pickup tube, and the windage tray. Remove timing belt cover, belt, tensioner, sprocket and dowel pin. Mark bearing caps for reassembly, and remove connecting rod and main bearing caps and then the crankshaft. Proper fitting of bearings prior to installation is a must.
