How to Maintain a Rear Wheel Speed Sensor on 2009 Dodge Journey?

Start by removing the rear wheel brake rotor and cleaning the sensor area, to ensure there aren't any contaminants in the bearing. After that, remove the screw connecting the speed sensor head to the hub and bearing and take out the wheel speed sensor routing clip from the brake tube routing bracket. Remove the wheel speed sensor cable from the routing clips above the trailing arm and slip the wheel speed sensor head out of the hub and bearing through the brake shield. Remove the clamp screw for the rear suspension crossmember and the other clamp screw from the trailing link. Take apart the vehicle wiring harness from the wheel speed sensor connector located underneath on the body by simply pulling it off forward using a screwdriver. It's possible to remove a routing clip from the gloved hand while the connector is still attached. Remove the wheel speed sensor as your last step.
