How to Service and Repair a Rear Seat Heater Switch on 2009 Dodge Ram 1500?

The first thing to do for rear seat heater switch service is to pull out the negative battery cable. Later, take a trim stick or a similar instrument and carefully lift the upper edge of the rear cab trim to free the retaining clips all around it. Move the panel upward and towards the rear until the lower tabs released from the console. Should these be present, remove the electrical connections for the 2nd row heated seats, 115 Volt power outlet and auxiliary audio jacks from the rear of the console floor panel. In the end, use an equivalent tool such as the trim stick (special tool # C-4755), to carefully remove the 2nd row heated seat switch assembly from the trim panel.
