How to Maintain the Headlight Switch on 2009 Dodge Ram 1500?

Before anything else, stop the SRS by removing its negative battery cable and waiting for two minutes, to keep the air bag from unexpectedly firing. Start by gently pushing a trim stick or suitable flat-bladed tool around the headlamp switch's face plate, then keep prying until you can slide the switch out of the lower vent bezel mounting hole on the left. After the switch is a little bit out, remove the wire harness connector from the socket on the back of the switch and then take the whole switch out of the instrument panel.
