How to Service and Repair a Seat Heater Switch for Front on Dodge Ram 1500?

Disconnect and set apart the battery negative cable when servicing or repairing the seat heater switch. After that, take out the instrument panel center bezel by using the proper procedure. Come apart the lower switch pod electrical connector and then take out the two screws that attach the lower switch pod to the center bezel. Remember to take out the switch pod from the center bezel.

How to Maintain a Seat Heater Switch on Dodge Ram 1500?

Please disconnect and block the negative battery cable first and once the air bag system has dispensed its charge, wait two minutes before starting work on the air bag or instrument panel. Take the center bezel off and then take out the screws holding the heated seat switch bezel to the center bezel on the instrument panel. Remove both switches and the whole switch bezel in one step. First lift the cover from inside at the back of the heated seat, then push the heated seat switch towards you through the front of the bezel. Make sure the switches go into the proper holes in the heated seat switch bezel because the keyway on the connector receptacle and on the housing are not the same. Through the front part of the bezel, move the heated seat switch into position, secure the heated seat switch bezel in the middle of the instrument panel center bezel and insert the retaining screws. Connect the center bezel on the instrument panel, connect the negative battery cable and see if everything in the vehicle is working correctly.
