How to Remove the Knock Sensors on 2009 Dodge Ram 3500?

Both knock sensors are found on the vehicle, mounted to the outer part of the cylinder block below the exhaust manifold. When removing the knock sensors, first lift the vehicle up and disconnect the connector. After that, remove the mounting bolt and observe the foam strip on its threads which is only for keeping the bolts attached to the sensors at assembly and should not be treated with any form of adhesive. As the last step, disconnect the knock sensor from the engine.
