How to Install an Oil Pressure Switch on 2009 Dodge Viper?

Apply thread sealant first if you are reinstalling the sensor. Within 10 minutes of installing the sensor, you should turn it to give the electrical connector sufficient space. Put in the oil pressure sensor (2) and tighten it to 9 Nm (80 in.lbs.), then turn it to place the connector in the correct position. Connect the wires to the electrical connector with a sniff.
