  A: Attach the Clock Spring to the multifunction switch and then make sure the latches are in place. Then, install the Clock Spring onto the instrument panel harness, checking that the wiring is laid properly and that the locking tabs and connectors are secure and in the right spot with the halo lamp wire properly located. After installing the steering column shrouds, connect the steering wheel, making sure the flats on its hub meet with the Clock Spring and put the horn and air bag leads through the larger slot so they don't get caught under the steering wheel. Attach the horn lead and driver air bag lead to the air bag and then put in the driver air bag. Do not connect the negative cable to the battery until after the system test or you may seriously or fatally injure someone. After that, add the battery access cover, secure it with four bolts and then close the deck lid.
