Q: How to Inspect a Radiator Cap on 2009 Dodge Viper?
A: If the valve at the bottom of the cap isn't closing because the rubber gasket has grown, you should replace the cap. You should be able to open the vent valve a little by pulling it with your fingernail. After that, turn the cap upside down and look for a space between the vent valve and the gasket; if light shines through, get a replacement cap.
