2009 Jeep Commander Car Speakers Parts and Q&A
Q: How to Remove Car Speakers from the Front Door, Instrument Panel, and Rear Door on 2009 Jeep Commander?
A: The first thing to do to move the speaker away from the front door is to remove the negative battery cable. Then, remove both the front door trim panel as well as its fasteners and get the speaker from inside the door, disconnecting the wire connection. The air bag system can be turned off for the instrument panel by disconnecting the negative battery cable, waiting two minutes and isolating it. With that done, take the grille off the instrument panel, pull out the speaker and unplug its wire harness connector. Remove the speaker again after disconnecting and isolating the battery's negative lead. After that, remove the door panel, the speaker mount screws and then withdraw the speaker and unplug the wire harness from it.
