2009 Jeep Commander Windshield Washer Nozzle Parts and Q&A

  • Q: How to Service and Repair a Rear Windshield Washer Nozzle on 2009 Jeep Commander?
A: The washer spray nozzle at the rear should be repaired by first disconnecting and isolating the battery negative cable. The next step is to take off the Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp (Chmsl) from the liftgate outer panel. Disconnect the supply hose to the washer nozzle from the barbed nipple found at the nozzle's back. From the rear of the Chmsl, press down on the nipple while pushing in the nozzle side release button. After that, remove the locking pins that hold the nozzle to the Chmsl lens's receptacle and remove the nozzle.
