  A: Before anything else, install the fan blade on the viscous fan drive and tighten the bolts with 17 ft. lb. or 23 Nm torque. Then, set the fan blade/viscous fan drive inside the radiator shroud and put the shroud and drive units into the vehicle. Place retaining screws to hold the fan shroud in place, making sure you tighten them to 6 Nm (50 lbs. in.). Using the given tool, fix the fan blade or viscous drive to the water pump shaft, tighten the nut by hand to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.). Later on, connect the top radiator hose, add coolant into the system and link up the negative cable to the battery.
