How to Detach a Rear Shock Absorber on 2009 Jeep Liberty?

In order to loosen the shock absorber on the rear, raise and clamp the vehicle on a hydraulic jack beneath the axle. Then remove the upper bolt which is in frame bracket, then the lower bolt and nut in the axle bracket, and then the shock absorber can be removed.
