  A: The first step in handling the wiper motor linkage problem is to separate and turn off the battery negative cable. After that, unscrew and take off the front wiper arms from the pivot points. After that, remove the cowl plenum cover/grille panel placed over the cowl plenum. Remove the wire harness connector (6) at the start of the front wiper motor (5) from the motor connector receptacle. Remove the two screws (1) that hold the front wiper module bracket (15) to the cowl plenum (3). Subsequently, unscrew the nut (2) attaching the front wiper motor bracket rubber insulator to the bottom of the cowl plenum stud (4). After that, pull out the intake plenum with the wiper module attached.
